EDITOR'S NOTE: The Heinsburg ferry commenced 1914. The list of operators 1925 - 56, inclusive, was sent to Mrs. Eva Coombe by the Department of Highways. It was submitted by her daughter, Lyndelle Womacks. In May 1976 Alberta gave us the names of operators to 1963. We may not be too accurate in the listing for 1914 - 22. Prior to 1946, where two ferrymen or assistants are shown, it indicates a change in personnel year.
